WILL YOU STAY OR GO?
"From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then Said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?"  -John 6:67

Sunday after Sunday many people begin or continue their journey toward heaven, supposedly following Jesus. However, there are far to many who start out on the journey who fail to finish their course. At a critical time in His ministry many followers of Jesus went back to their old ways and walked no more with Jesus. He had began teaching them about the resurrection and the principles of accepting Him as blood sacrifice who would die for their sins. Jesus said, we must eat of His flesh and drink of His blood. The statements were symbolic to the church accepting Him as the gift of salvation which would afford believers eternal life.

Unfortunately, Jesus' message was not what they wanted here. They wanted a savior that would dethrone the Roman government and put the Jews/Israelite back in power. He had not said what they wanted to hear, and because of this they left and walked with him no longer. Perhaps you know someone who does not come to church, who does not serve God simply because something or someone let them down. Something or someone caused them to be disappointed and therefore they disconnected themselves from the church and its Kingdom purpose.

Our responsibility to God during our stay here on earth is to be steadfast, unmovable always abounding in the Word of God. We are carry out His Kingdom agenda here on earth. Can God count on you to stay on the battlefield for the Lord? Can God rely on you to stay on your bending knees and to treat your brother and sister right? Can God count on you to pray for those that persecute you, to love thy neighbor as thyself and to live your life to the Glory of the Father?

Perhaps you miss the things of the world or you believe you don't need the Lord our God anymore. Whatever purpose God has for your life, can only manifest within the parameters of your kingdom life. Will you stay with God or will you go with the things of this world? Will you Stay or Will you Go?

ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM THEM

"But we are not of them who draw back into perdition. But of them that believe to the saving of the soul". -Hebrews 10:39

When we look at others, we often look for similarities, likes, dislikes, things that we have in common and things where we differ. The truth is we are really all different as humans, none of us have the exact same DNA. However, when it comes to our Spirit man we all share the DNA OF Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. All who have been washed in the blood of the lamb, born again by the washing of water and filled with the Holy Ghost we are they that believe to the saving of our souls. Yet there are others because of their unbelief, they are distinctly different from us.

When you examine your own life, are you different from them. They walk by sight, doing and believing only what they see. Their hope is in their own physical, intellectual and individual abilities. Our hope is in the Person and the Power of Jesus Christ, who died, but yet lives as Savior and Sustainer of our salvation. In every aspect of our lives we must be different from them. We cannot live in sin without consequence or concern, that we crucify him anew. We cannot ignore wrong, nor disregard right. We are called to be light in this dark world, while they choose to be darkness and ignore light. Are you different from them?

God wants us to unite together as one body, one faith, one spirit and one LORD. They are driven to divide, destroy and to deliberately disobey God. We are called to persevere in persecution, protect and provide for our families, praise and walk in prosperity as children of the most-high God. Are you different from them.

Perhaps you have been called strange, people have looked at you funny and slandered your name. They have made fun of you and friends have walked away. If this is true, don't be discouraged nor be dismayed, God is on your side, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. You are never alone for God is with you. Ask yourself, am I truly on the Lord side? ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM THEM?

CAN GOD LIVE WITH YOU

In whom ye also are builded together for a habitation of God through the Spirit". - Ephesians 2:22

There are many believers who are fervent in their faith, passionate in their prayer life and Wonderful with their worship. However these adjectives are only applicable if its Sunday morning and they are, as they say, "At Church". The problem with this periodic and part time relationship with God is that it does not please Him. God does not want to visit us or stumble up on us every now and then, God wants to live with us. Under your current circumstances, "Can God Live with you?" In the Apostle Paul's letter to the church at Ephesus he, writes about redemption and the power of the resurrection. He deals with Salvation, service and .the gentiles who were no longer strangers. He suggest that the church unify itself because in the power of the shed blood on Calvary.

God wants us to unite together for the purpose of doing Kingdom work. God is more than capable of being who He is and who we need Him to be. Yet, because he loves us His desires are to inhabit the praises of his people. If we love one another, pray together and study together, we create an environment that is full of the peace and the power of GOD. Jesus spoke saying, "They will know you are my disciples, by how you Love Ye one another. God has built in us a place where He can dwell, among a people that know that they are His and He is their God.

If God prepared a place for you to live in eternity, you must know that he expects us to be a place and a people that He can live with on earth. Does God have a permanent or temporary ID card in your world? Can God Live With You?
