IS LOVE THE MISSING INGREDIENT
"For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that ye should love one another." -1st John 3:11

If you sit down to eat your favorite dish and realize that for some reason it doesn’t taste like mom, grandma or maybe your wife use to make it. There is something missing, it looks right, the colors right, the textures right, and the taste is very similar, but something is missing. That is the dilemma of the 21st century church appears to have everything it wants, accept the one thing it desperately needs. God’s love is not just about what was done on Calvary, but it is also about what the believer need to do while we are here on earth.

Even from the beginning of time, God expected man to love one another. There was no law given but God expected Cain to love his brother Abel. Not to be mean, evil, envious or deceitful but loving and kind. There are too many folk in the church with a Cain mentality, and instead of loving one another like God, they are killing the spiritual potential of the church. If we would love like God, the power of God’s love would take us to a new level in him. Jesus said, "By this they will know you are my disciples, if you love ye one another."

If our church is going to go to another level in Jesus, we must let the Love of God dwell within us and manifest in our lives daily. If you are wondering what is wrong in your life, in our church, in our relationships, then ask yourself, Is Love, the missing ingredient?

Because of Calvary,

ARE YOU MAKING THE RIGHT CHOICES
“A Woman of Value and Worth”

"And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful; and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her." - Luke 10:41-42

Women are decision makers in many aspects of their life. They are careful strategic shoppers who look for the best quality and the best price. They choose color patterns for their homes, cars and the accessories that match their clothing attire. They choose doctors for themselves and their children; they choose products and produce to prepare meals for their family. With the responsibility of making so many choices, it should result in them making spiritual choices with ease. However, it is the plethora of life choices that sometime overwhelm women of God and negatively impacts their ability in making the right spiritual choice.

Martha and Mary were both preparing a meal, and serving their guest. However, when Jesus arrived, they had a choice to make. Continue doing earthly things or choose to sit at the feet of Jesus. What choices are you making when life’s situation overwhelm you. Do you choose faith over fears, worship over worry, prayer over problems, or His will over your want? Martha chose to keep doing what she was doing but Mary chose to respond to Jesus entering into her life. If you are child of the King, a member of the body of Christ, a new creature in Christ Jesus, then you have some choices to make. Begin this day, making the right choices, choosing to and to be what God has predestined for your life. Now is the time to answer the question, ARE YOU MAKING THE RIGHT CHOICES?

Stay Blessed,
